Category awareness
Each reading is classified following the German Hypertension League thresholds, with a clear color scale and a built-in reference table.
Export & share
Generate a CSV or a PDF report with statistics in one tap — perfect for an appointment with your doctor.
Import & continuity
Bring in existing readings from a CSV export so you can switch devices without losing your history.
Understand the bigger picture.
The statistics tab summarises your readings with averages, ranges, pulse pressure and mean arterial pressure (MAP), and renders a daily-aggregated chart with shaded reference zones so the trend speaks for itself.
- • 7 days / 30 days / 90 days / 1 year / all time
- • Average, minimum and maximum at a glance
- • Pulse pressure and MAP for additional context
- • Category distribution across your readings

A history you can trust.
Every entry shows the systolic and diastolic value, pulse, pulse pressure, MAP, the date and time and the matching category — with an explicit warning when pulse pressure exceeds 60 mmHg.
Edits and deletions are confirmed before they happen, so your log stays accurate.

Blood pressure classification
My Blood Pressure classifies your readings using the threshold scheme published by the German Hypertension League (Deutsche Hochdruckliga), which mirrors the 2018 ESH/ESC guideline. Categories are based on office blood pressure measurements and are independent of age and sex.
| Category | Systolic (mmHg) | Diastolic (mmHg) |
|---|---|---|
Hypotension Low blood pressure | < 90 | < 60 |
Optimal Optimal blood pressure | 90–119 | 60–79 |
Normal Normal blood pressure | 120–129 | 80–84 |
High Normal High-normal blood pressure | 130–139 | 85–89 |
Hypertension Grade 1 Mild hypertension | 140–159 | 90–99 |
Hypertension Grade 2 Moderate hypertension | 160–179 | 100–109 |
Hypertension Grade 3 Severe hypertension | ≥ 180 | ≥ 110 |
When systolic and diastolic values fall into different categories, the higher category applies. Repeated readings on different days should be averaged before drawing conclusions.
Important
Medical notice
My Blood Pressure is a documentation tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnoses, treatment or medical advice.
When to seek emergency help
A reading of 180 mmHg or higher systolic or 110 mmHg or higher diastolic is considered very high. If you also experience chest pain, shortness of breath, vision changes, weakness on one side, slurred speech or a severe headache, contact emergency services immediately. Do not wait for another reading.
General guidance
- • Measure in a calm environment, after at least 5 minutes of rest, with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
- • Use a validated upper-arm cuff at heart level. Avoid caffeine, nicotine, food and exercise for at least 30 minutes before measuring.
- • Take two readings about one minute apart, twice a day (morning and evening), and record both.
- • A single elevated reading is not a diagnosis. Discuss persistent abnormal values with a qualified healthcare professional.
